Yeap...this year we went to ulu kali...somewhere around ulu yam la...the place like super advanced in technology...we had like electricity wei...got lamps,toilets(most places got la),cement fresh halls,bricks,even got goose oso...
Camp started same like every year,we go early at 7.30pm(i was kinda late...gladly they din leave without me) and set up all the equipment like,tool shed,pitch a few tents,organise the logistics of food,tools,ahh...stuff lidat la...then the bus with everyone else arrived...they pitched more tents and next thing u know,its lights out at 1am...me,zech and ked slept in one tent,yen,den and chris slept in the other...knowing me and ked,we sleep like super late and get up super early...that night me and ked stayed up,talked bout stuff,and then it was finally time for colgate!we decided we won't kenakan the new people...they sure tell cmdr. and then we die...so yen and den were sleeping.Me,ked,oh ya and tjin...he was oso awake,put hair gel and colgate on zech,yen,and den..was darn fun wei...finally the colgate kings kena from us!(yen and den)slept at 4am,woke up at 5.30am...
That morning,was suppose to be royal patrol and do presentation of colours(flags and all)...din get to eat breakfast and was 10 mins late...terence kena me,ked,and yen 15 pumping...brian eric kena 25...chun wei the fella...do so fast summore...shawna and gail kena 10 squats i think la...presentation of colours went well...parade went well....so now is time to kena again cuz the boys din clean up after breakfast...rotation skill classes started...learned the same usual every year,lashing,rope craft,tool craft,first aid,fire craft, and compass...but still need to go this camp even though know it ediz cuz i keep forgetting...like i forgot all my rope craft..made a bamboo raft...the guide doing some kind of weird lashing...he told us to simply lash...we were like...okayyy...dunno how to start...so i simply tie cuz a continues lashing would have been hard and we put the raft in the water and the lashing came out and everyones raft sunk and came apart...we just found out that bamboo raft kenot support urself...so we just played in the river and dunked shawna 14 times cuz her b'day that day...did a few bicycle kicks in the water and the boys needed to come out early cuz we're cookin dinner...we ran to the campsite cuz we we're already late and changed without bathing in 5mins and started cooking....we made our corn beef special with the chunest extra ingredients to make it better...i cooked the beef tapi,i din get to eat it cuz needed to prepare for council-fire...but everyone said the corn beef was chun!(boys are the best cooks,we won cooking competition two years in a row beating the gurls back in 2002 and 2003)...
Council-fire was nice...the setting of our theme,medievil times,was chun!,opening ceromony oso...our imprompto(however u spell)skit was okay lah....the gurls skit was okok...needed lots more humour...that night,me,zech,ked,and yen dressed up as the Four Foodkeeters...zech was sir burger,yen was sir nugget, i was sir french fry and ked was sir 3k(Kedric Kwan's Kampung...he was the odd one).our costumes were okay...i liked it!considering the fact that it was done the day of that camp...we had like blue cotton cloaks,blue velvets,white shirts,black pants,farmer hats,a rotan poked in to a plastic bowl as our sword,and of course, slippers..(gotta add a lil' malaysian flavour).Shawna had a lot of attention,she got like three b'day cakes...shared one with ying...cuz her "b'day" just passed on 29th feb.
After that,was bedtime again...wanted to put colgate 2nd time along with den,yen,tjin and zech but...we all fell asleep...was crazy tired.woke up early...at 6 i think?made breakfast for everyone while the expedition cleaned up...had parade after that...royal patrol on duty sesat a bit but nvm,people do make mistakes...then was service...played guitar for worship,had Uncle Yip to speak...me,zech,yen,den,tjin,and colin all falling asleep...packed up and had lunch cooked by the gurls...and balik lorr...hahaaha
ps:got alot of mistakes that are uncorrectable cuz my comp is gonna crash soon if my sis doesn't delete her files...
